The CCMS brings chamber music home.
Our home concerts (or salon concerts) are at the heart of the Capital Chamber Music Society mission and bring chamber music into venues for which the compositions were originally intended. Such concerts, arranged at the private residences of the Society’s members, invite the informal interaction of members and professional artists and create transformative experiences of music making and sharing.

Previously | Since we cannot safely “bring chamber music home” as a group due to pandemic conditions, we are not inviting paid membership for 2020-2021. Instead, we held a BYO Picnic Concert September 2020 and are discussing possibilities for this spring. Our goals for the 2020-2021 season are to:
- keep participants safe
- promote wellness
- share beauty
- create jobs for musicians during a time of economic crisis
